# Ingredients:

→ For the Sloppy Joes

01 - 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, freshly grated
02 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - 3/4 teaspoon sea salt (reduce if your tomato sauce has salt)
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, adjust to taste
09 - 1/4 cup sugar-free BBQ sauce (like Ray's Original)
10 - 1 (8 oz) can no-salt-added tomato sauce
11 - 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean is best)
12 - Buns for assembling and serving

# Steps:

01 - In a small bowl, toss together your black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and onion powder until everything's combined evenly.
02 - In another small bowl, whisk together your BBQ sauce, mustard, tomato sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
03 - Grab a box grater and shred the cheddar cheese if you don't already have it pre-shredded. Set it aside for later.
04 - In a wide skillet on medium heat, cook your ground beef until it's fully browned and there aren't any pink spots left. Drain any extra grease.
05 - Put the beef back in the skillet. Stir in the spice mix and the sauce. Make sure the meat gets evenly coated with the mixture.
06 - Toss in the shredded cheddar and stir until it melts completely and mixes into the beef. Take the skillet off the heat.
07 - Pile the cooked mixture onto your buns. Add any other toppings you like, then dig in.

# Notes:

01 - Keep leftovers in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 4 days.
02 - Let the mixture cool before freezing in a freezer-safe container. It'll last up to 3 months.
