Chicken Avocado Chipotle Melt (Print-Friendly Version)

Smoked chicken, avocado, peppadew peppers, and tangy chipotle sauce come together on crunchy sourdough bread. A Panera-inspired favorite.

# Ingredients:

→ Base for Sandwich

01 - 2 ounces of sliced smoked chicken breast
02 - 2 slices of sourdough bread
03 - ¼ of an avocado, sliced up
04 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil

→ Extra Toppings

05 - 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped cilantro
06 - 3 Peppadew peppers, cut into slices
07 - 1 slice of Chao Original Creamy cheese

→ Spicy Chipotle Spread

08 - 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
09 - ½ a cup of mayo
10 - 1 tablespoon of adobo sauce (chipotle)
11 - ¼ teaspoon of flaky salt
12 - 1 garlic clove, finely minced

# Steps:

01 - Mix all sauce stuff together until smooth. Taste it and adjust seasoning if needed.
02 - Oil the outside slices of bread. Put the cheese first, then spread sauce inside.
03 - In a skillet on medium-high, toast one side until it's golden and cheese is melted. Flip it to do the other side.
04 - Pull it off the skillet, slice it in half, and it's ready to eat.
