Chicken Jack Cheese Dish (Print-Friendly Version)

Juicy chicken with melted jack cheese, with mushrooms and onions cooked lightly on top.

# Ingredients:

01 - Two big chicken breasts.
02 - 1 tbsp butter, plus some extra for cooking.
03 - 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic.
04 - A spoonful of smoked paprika.
05 - 2 spoons of soy sauce.
06 - One sliced medium-sized onion.
07 - A pinch of salt.
08 - Half a teaspoon of ground black pepper.
09 - 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
10 - 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
11 - Half a pound of sliced mushrooms.
12 - Two slices of Monterey Jack cheese.
13 - A tablespoon of olive oil.

# Steps:

01 - Flatten the chicken breasts so they cook evenly.
02 - Combine garlic, paprika, soy sauce, Worcestershire, and lemon juice. Let the chicken sit in this mix for at least 30 minutes.
03 - In olive oil, cook the mushrooms and onions until golden and soft. Keep them aside.
04 - In butter, fry the marinated chicken on both sides for 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top.
05 - Put cheese slices over the chicken pieces, cover until melted. Add the cooked onions and mushrooms on top.

# Notes:

01 - Letting it marinate longer makes the flavor stronger.
02 - Go for fresh onions and garlic if you can.
03 - Don't skip letting the chicken sit after cooking.
