Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (Print-Friendly Version)

An easy twist on takeout: juicy chicken in a sweet glaze with vibrant vegetables and a bed of white rice.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups jasmine rice, already cooked
02 - 1 lb diced chicken breast

→ Veggies

03 - 1 cup shredded carrots
04 - 1 cup florets of broccoli

→ Sauce & Extras

05 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
06 - A quarter cup of teriyaki sauce

→ Toppings

07 - Chopped green onions
08 - Sprinkled sesame seeds

# Steps:

01 - Spoon some rice into each bowl. Place the chicken and steamed veggies on top. Sprinkle on sesame seeds and throw in the green onions for the final touch.
02 - Pour sesame oil into a hot pan and toss in the chicken pieces. Brown them up nicely, then stir in teriyaki sauce. Let it bubble a few minutes.
03 - Steam carrots and broccoli just enough so they're soft but still a little crisp.
