Creamy Parmesan Chicken (Print-Friendly Version)

Crispy chicken paired with a creamy garlic parmesan sauce. Quick weeknight fix that feels like fine dining.

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Prep

01 - Salt and ground pepper as needed
02 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil
03 - 2 large chicken breasts, split in half (or 4 smaller ones)

→ Creamy Sauce Ingredients

04 - 3 to 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon of dried oregano or Italian herb mix
06 - A cup of either light or heavy cream
07 - 1 cup of baby spinach, chopped (optional step)
08 - Half a cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese

# Steps:

01 - Season each side of your chicken breasts with plenty of salt and pepper. Be generous so the flavors pop!
02 - In a big skillet over medium-high heat, warm up some olive oil. Toss in the chicken breasts and cook them for about 5-6 minutes per side until they’re crisp and golden.
03 - Move the cooked chicken to a plate and set it aside. You’ll need it again soon.
04 - Lower the heat a bit, then add your chopped garlic to the pan. Stir it for about half a minute—just enough to smell amazing but not burn.
05 - Slowly stir in the cream, and then add the oregano and parmesan cheese. Mix it gently as it starts to thicken and become smooth.
06 - If you’re using spinach, now’s the time to add it to the pan. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes until it softens and blends into the sauce.
07 - Put the chicken back in the pan, and scoop some sauce over it. Let it simmer for another minute or so to soak up all that garlicky goodness.
08 - Serve your chicken smothered with creamy sauce. Pair it with mashed potatoes, veggies, or even some pasta!

# Notes:

01 - Want crispier chicken? Coat it in panko breadcrumbs and parmesan before cooking.
02 - Love heat? Sprinkle some crushed red pepper into the sauce.
03 - Grate fresh parmesan—it’ll give better flavor and texture than pre-packaged cheese.
