Creamy Peanut Noodles (Print-Friendly Version)

Velvety noodles tossed in a sweet and spicy peanut sauce. A quick, budget-friendly dish done in 10 minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 packet (3 oz) dry instant ramen; toss out the seasoning packet

→ Peanut Sauce

02 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
03 - Salt to your liking
04 - ½ tablespoon dark soy sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon sriracha (more or less as you like)
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 2 tablespoons smooth natural peanut butter (unsweetened)
08 - 1 tablespoon honey or pure maple syrup
09 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

→ Garnish

10 - 1 tablespoon roasted peanuts, crushed
11 - 1 green onion, sliced
12 - Optional: chopped fresh red chili

# Steps:

01 - Cook ramen in boiling water until just tender. Drain, keeping ¼ cup of the water. Toss the seasoning pack if included.
02 - Mix together peanut butter, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, honey, lemon juice, salt, sesame oil, and reserved warm noodle water. Stir until smooth.
03 - Taste and tweak the sauce ingredients to get it just right for you.
04 - Mix the cooked noodles with the peanut sauce. Add green onions and peanuts, then stir until everything's coated perfectly.
05 - Top with more green onions, extra peanuts, and chili if you want a kick. Enjoy immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Use the reserved noodle water to make the sauce extra creamy.
02 - Add more or less sriracha depending on how spicy you like it.
