Creamy Seafood Soup (Print-Friendly Version)

Smooth creamy broth with crab, shrimp, sautéed veggies, and aromatic touches for a seafood treat.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 lb crab meat, already cooked.
02 - 1/2 lb shrimp, cooked and chopped.
03 - 1/4 cup onion, diced.
04 - 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped.
05 - 1/4 cup carrot, chopped into small pieces.
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
07 - 1 tbsp olive oil.
08 - 1 tsp paprika.
09 - 1/4 tsp cayenne.
10 - 1/4 cup flour (all-purpose).
11 - 2 tbsp tomato paste.
12 - 4 cups broth (seafood or chicken).
13 - 2 tbsp sherry (optional).
14 - 1 cup heavy cream.
15 - Fresh herbs to sprinkle on top.

# Steps:

01 - Soften onion, celery, and carrot in oil over heat. Toss in garlic and stir.
02 - Blend in tomato paste and seasonings. Mix flour thoroughly to form a thick paste. Slowly pour in broth while stirring.
03 - Simmer for 10-12 minutes until thick. Stir in sherry near the end.
04 - Add the cream, shrimp, and crab. Warm everything for about 5 minutes. Finish with herbs and seasoning.

# Notes:

01 - For a deeper taste, go with seafood broth instead of chicken.
02 - Sherry is up to you—feel free to skip it.
