Golden Fried Ravioli (Print-Friendly Version)

Fried ravioli with a crisp, golden coating and a soft filling inside. A crowd-pleasing snack you can make fast and effortlessly.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Ravioli

01 - 12 oz package of frozen ravioli (meat or cheese-filled, your pick)
02 - 1 cup of standard all-purpose flour
03 - 2 big eggs
04 - 1 cup panko or Italian-style breadcrumbs
05 - 1 teaspoon of dry garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon of Italian herb blend
07 - Add salt and pepper as you’d like
08 - Cooking oil (canola or vegetable works)

# Steps:

01 - In a shallow bowl, pour the flour. Beat the eggs and pour them into a second dish. In a third dish, mix together breadcrumbs, Italian spices, garlic powder, salt, and some pepper.
02 - Toss the frozen ravioli in the flour, and tap it a little to get rid of the extra. Dip it into the whisked eggs, then cover it well with your breadcrumb mixture. Make sure to press it just a bit so the crumbs stick. Do this until all ravioli is prepped.
03 - Using a large skillet, heat your oil over a medium-high flame until you see it shimmer.
04 - Carefully place your prepared ravioli into the hot skillet (do it in small batches). Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Move them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain extra oil.
05 - Lay the fried ravioli on a tray or plate, and serve them warm with marinara or dipping sauces of your choice.

# Notes:

01 - Keep ravioli frozen right up until you're ready to coat them.
02 - These can be air-fried if you want to skip deep frying.
03 - For the best taste, eat them while they're still warm and crispy.
