Chicken with Rice (Print-Friendly Version)

A flavorful one-pan combo of chicken, yellow rice, and rich queso. Quick to make and super tasty.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 and a half pounds of boneless chicken breast.
02 - 2 spoonfuls of olive oil.
03 - A teaspoon of adobo-flavored seasoning.
04 - 10 ounces of golden yellow rice that's flavored with saffron.
05 - A single tomato bouillon cube.
06 - Two and a half cups of water.
07 - 3 ounces of creamy white queso dip.
08 - 2 tablespoons of fresh milk.

# Steps:

01 - Dry off the chicken with a paper towel and sprinkle on the adobo seasoning.
02 - Sear the seasoned chicken in the skillet with oil until nicely browned. This takes about 6 minutes altogether.
03 - Add the bouillon, water, and rice. Let it boil, then put the lid on and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
04 - Mix in the queso and milk, then fluff the rice up with a fork for serving.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure to cover the hole on the lid to let the rice cook properly.
02 - Fresh queso from the fridge works better.
03 - Slice the chicken against the grain for best results.
