Southern Cheese Dip (Print-Friendly Version)

A rich, smooth blend of pimentos, gouda, and cheddar—ideal for dipping or spreading on sandwiches and more.

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese Blend

01 - 8 oz of smoked Gouda, shredded
02 - 8 oz of sharp cheddar, shredded
03 - 8 oz of cream cheese, brought to room temperature

→ Extra Ingredients

04 - Half a cup of mayo
05 - 8 oz of pimentos or roasted red peppers, diced
06 - 1/2 tsp of onion powder
07 - 1/2 tsp of powdered mustard seeds
08 - Add cayenne for heat, based on your spice preference
09 - About 2 tsp of dried parsley (you don’t have to add this, though)

# Steps:

01 - In a large bowl, toss all of the ingredients in except for cayenne.
02 - Use either a spoon or a hand mixer, and combine until smooth or however you like it. Sprinkle some cayenne in at this point to adjust the spice level.
03 - Let it sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving and up to a day. Finish it with parsley on top, if that’s your thing.

# Notes:

01 - Works great as a spread or even a dip
02 - Goes well on burgers, sandwiches, or stuffed in baked potatoes
03 - Using freshly grated cheese makes all the difference
