Sweet Air Pineapple (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden pineapple glazed with maple and cinnamon in the air fryer. A lighter sweet treat done in 20 minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Pineapple Prep

01 - About 1/2 small pineapple, sliced to make 2 generous cups
02 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
03 - 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
04 - 1 tablespoon melted plant-based butter, optional

→ Chili Lime Dip (Optional)

05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground chili powder
06 - 1 tablespoon lime juice (roughly from half a lime)
07 - 3 tablespoons dairy-free mayo or cashew cream

# Steps:

01 - Slice the pineapple into rings or bite-sized pieces after peeling and removing the core. Place about 2 big cups in a bowl.
02 - Mix together cinnamon, maple syrup, and the optional melted butter in a small dish. Gently spoon this mix over the pineapple to coat well.
03 - Lay pineapple pieces flat in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Cook at 380°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Flip them over halfway, and cook until golden and caramelized.
04 - While the pineapple cooks, stir together lime juice, chili powder, and dairy-free mayo or cashew cream in a small dish.
05 - You can eat it warm or chilled as a treat or side. If you'd like, pair it with the optional chili lime mix.

# Notes:

01 - Arrange pineapple evenly in the fryer basket to keep them from breaking.
02 - Good for 2-3 days if kept in the fridge.
03 - Tastes great cold or fresh out of the fryer.
