Chili Jerk Wings (Print-Friendly Version)

Oven-baked crispy wings with jerk spices and a homemade chili glaze.

# Ingredients:

→ Wings

01 - 16 pieces from 8 full chicken wings
02 - 1 teaspoon regular salt
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika powder
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic seasoning
05 - 1 tablespoon jerk spice mix
06 - 1 teaspoon onion seasoning
07 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 1 tablespoon corn starch

→ Sweet Chili Sauce

09 - 1 cup sweet chili dip
10 - A tablespoon of low-sodium soy sauce
11 - 3 garlic cloves, shredded
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
13 - 1 teaspoon peeled and grated fresh ginger

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to heat up to 425°F. Get the wings clean and pat them dry. Stir together the spices with the soy sauce.
02 - Rub the wings with the spice mix and leave them to soak up the flavor for at least half an hour.
03 - Cover the wings in the cornstarch and arrange them on a rack that's placed over a baking sheet.
04 - Pop the wings in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Turn them over halfway through and keep baking until they're crunchy outside and golden-colored.
05 - Mix all the sauce ingredients in a pan. Let it simmer for around two minutes.
06 - Once the wings are out and still hot, toss them in the sauce. Offer a side of extra sauce or any dips you like and serve right away.

# Notes:

01 - It's best to eat these wings as soon as they're done
02 - If you want stronger flavor, leave them marinating overnight
03 - Using a wire rack makes the wings crunchiest
