Brownie Bites Protein (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For Making the Brownies

01 - 3 bananas that are very ripe
02 - 1/2 cup of creamy almond butter or peanut butter
03 - 2 scoops (about 1/2 cup) of protein powder—vanilla or chocolate
04 - 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, unsweetened

→ Optional Topping

05 - A handful of mini chocolate chips (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Get the oven ready at 350°F (175°C).
02 - Smash the bananas in a medium bowl until they're mostly smooth. A few tiny lumps are fine.
03 - Add the almond butter or peanut butter and stir it well into the mashed bananas.
04 - Pour in the protein powder and cocoa powder. Combine everything until the batter is thick and smooth.
05 - Place 8 silicone muffin cups in a muffin tray. The silicone keeps the batter from sticking.
06 - Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, splitting it up evenly.
07 - Top each brownie with some mini chocolate chips, if you'd like.
08 - Bake the brownies for around 20 minutes or until they’re done. They might feel soft at first, but they'll harden as they cool.
09 - Let the brownie bites cool completely before taking them out of the cups. Eat them slightly warm, cold, or at room temp.

# Notes:

01 - Extra ripe bananas make the brownies naturally sweeter.
02 - Silicone muffin cups are great for preventing the mix from sticking.
03 - Try tossing everything into a blender or food processor for a silky batter.
04 - Store brownies in a sealed container in the fridge (up to 5 days) or freeze to keep them longer.
