Garlic Butter Steak Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Noodles & Protein

01 - 8 oz cooked egg or ramen noodles, prepared as per the package directions
02 - 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced across the grain

→ Sauce + Flavor Boosters

03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 2 tablespoons butter
05 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon honey
08 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
10 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
11 - ½ teaspoon salt
12 - Optional: ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

→ Toppings

13 - Optional: 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
14 - ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat until hot. Lay the flank steak pieces flat and let them cook for 2-3 minutes until they've browned and are just done. If your pan is crowded, work in small batches. Move the steak to a plate and set it aside.
02 - In the same pan (don’t clean out the steak juice!), lower the heat and toss in the butter. When it’s melted, add the chopped garlic. Stir for 30-60 seconds until it smells amazing but isn’t burnt. If you’re into spice, sprinkle in your red pepper flakes and let them sizzle for 15 seconds.
03 - Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir it together while scraping up all those tasty bits from the pan’s bottom. Add your salt and black pepper, and let it bubble for about a minute until it starts to thicken slightly.
04 - Toss the cooked noodles into the garlicky butter sauce so they’re coated evenly. Gently mix in the steak along with any juices left on the plate, making sure everything is soaked in the flavors.
05 - Let it heat for 1-2 minutes so everything’s hot and ready. Take it off the stove and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds (if you’re into that). Serve straight from the pan while it’s steaming.

# Notes:

01 - If you’re cutting carbs, swap regular noodles for spiralized zucchini or spaghetti squash.
02 - Want a protein change? Chicken, shrimp, or tofu can take flank steak's place.
03 - Spice lovers can add as much or as little red pepper flakes as they want.
