Spiced Chickpeas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups of already cooked chickpeas.
02 - 1 big onion, finely chopped.
03 - 2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced.
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced.
05 - 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated or finely chopped.
06 - 1-2 green chilies, adjust based on your spice preference.
07 - A teaspoon of cumin seeds.
08 - 2 teaspoons of ground coriander.
09 - A teaspoon of garam masala powder.
10 - Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
11 - As much red chili powder as you'd like.
12 - Salt to flavor everything just right.
13 - Chopped fresh cilantro for topping it off.

# Instructions:

01 - Make sure your chickpeas are cooked and ready, either homemade or drained from a can.
02 - Sauté the onions until they're golden brown, then add in garlic, ginger, and chilies.
03 - Toss in the tomatoes and your spices, and cook until the tomatoes break down and look soft.
04 - Stir in the chickpeas with some water and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Top with cilantro before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Stir in some coconut milk if you want it creamier.
02 - Feel free to change the spice levels to match your taste.
