Cheesy Jalapeño Grits (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 1/2 cups water
02 - 2/3 cup heavy cream
03 - 2/3 cup instant grits

→ Add-ins

04 - 2 jalapeño peppers, diced and seeds removed
05 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
06 - Salt and black pepper, use as needed
07 - 1 tbsp butter

# Instructions:

01 - Cook jalapeños in melted butter for a few minutes until they soften up.
02 - Boil the water and cream together over heat.
03 - Mix in the grits and cheddar cheese. Let it simmer 5-7 minutes until it softens.
04 - Sprinkle with some salt and pepper. Garnish with jalapeños and extra cheese.
