Cheesy Jalapeño Grits

2/3 cup heavy cream

2/3 cup instant grits

2 jalapeño peppers, diced and seeds removed

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Salt and black pepper, use as needed

1 tbsp butter
# Instructions:

Cook jalapeños in melted butter for a few minutes until they soften up.

Boil the water and cream together over heat.

Mix in the grits and cheddar cheese. Let it simmer 5-7 minutes until it softens.

Sprinkle with some salt and pepper. Garnish with jalapeños and extra cheese.
