Parmesan Chicken Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 slider buns.
02 - 18 frozen mozzarella sticks.
03 - 6 slices provolone cheese.
04 - 2 tablespoons butter.
05 - ½ cup olive oil.
06 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan.
07 - 1½ cups breadcrumbs.
08 - 2 large eggs.
09 - ½ teaspoon black pepper.
10 - 2 teaspoons seasoned salt.
11 - ¾ cup flour.
12 - 1 cup buttermilk.
13 - 2 large chicken breasts, butterflied.
14 - ¼ cup melted butter for brushing the buns.
15 - ½ cup marinara sauce.
16 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley.
17 - ¼ teaspoon garlic powder.
18 - 1 teaspoon sea salt.
19 - ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut chicken into thin pieces after butterflying and flattening it. Adjust pieces to fit the buns.
02 - Let the chicken soak in buttermilk, either for half an hour or leave overnight for better flavor.
03 - Get three bowls ready: one for seasoned flour, one for whisked eggs, and one for a breadcrumb mixture.
04 - Dip the chicken into the flour first, then coat it in egg, and finish with a layer of breadcrumbs.
05 - Bake the frozen mozzarella sticks in the oven for about 7 minutes at 450°F.
06 - Fry the breaded chicken in a pan with butter and oil. Cook each side for around 4 minutes until golden brown.
07 - Layer the buns with pieces of chicken, dollops of marinara sauce, mozzarella sticks, and slices of provolone.
08 - Combine melted butter with garlic powder, sea salt, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mix on top of the buns.
09 - Cover the sliders and bake at 350°F for 8 minutes. Take off the cover and bake for an extra 2-3 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - If you don't have buttermilk, you can mix milk and sour cream as a substitute.
02 - The recipe works best with buns that are about 4 inches wide.
03 - Freshly made breadcrumbs give the best texture.
