Chicken-Stuffed Crescent Rolls (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden crescent rolls filled with creamy chicken, cheddar, and green onions. Easy, family-friendly comfort food.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
03 - 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - Salt and pepper to taste
09 - 1 egg
10 - Optional: additional herbs or spices (like paprika or Italian seasoning)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
03 - Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
04 - Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
05 - Place the stuffed crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If desired, beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
07 - Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
