Chocolate Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 cups of sugar, split into two parts.
02 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring.
03 - 2 large chocolate bars (bittersweet variety).
04 - A small dash of salt, about 1/4 teaspoon.
05 - 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate.
06 - 32 ounces of sour cream.
07 - 6 large eggs, not beaten.
08 - 5 packs (about 40 ounces) of cream cheese.
09 - A few fresh strawberries for serving, optional.

# Instructions:

01 - Make sure the cream cheese is at room temp. Set your oven to 400°F. Get your springform pan ready with a water bath.
02 - Cream each block of cream cheese separately until smooth. Toss in the eggs, one at a time while mixing.
03 - Melt the chocolate and pour it into the batter with the other ingredients. Mix everything together for 7 minutes.
04 - First, bake for 10 minutes at 400°F in the water bath. After that, lower the temperature to 375°F and bake for another 45 to 55 minutes.
05 - Leave the cheesecake in the oven to cool off for an hour. Put it in the fridge overnight before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Leak test your springform pan before starting.
02 - Don't bother covering it in the fridge if odors won’t be a problem.
03 - You can keep it frozen for up to 3 weeks.
