In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

Add garlic powder, taco seasoning, and salsa to the ground beef. Stir to combine evenly.

Reduce heat to low and mix in the cream cheese until fully melted and the mixture becomes creamy.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the halved peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to soften slightly.

Fill each halved bell pepper with the prepared beef and cream cheese mixture.

Return stuffed peppers to the oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.

Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve warm. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated the next day.
