Banana Layers Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Layers

01 - 4 bananas, sliced up
02 - 1 box of vanilla wafers (8 oz)

→ Pudding Base

03 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
05 - A dash (1/4 tsp) of salt
06 - 3 eggs
07 - 3/4 cup sugar
08 - 3 cups of milk

# Instructions:

01 - In a saucepan, blend the sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually whisk in the milk and simmer until it thickens and starts bubbling.
02 - Beat the eggs, then slowly pour the hot mix into the eggs bit by bit while stirring. Pour back into the pan and heat until it just starts bubbling.
03 - Take off the heat after stirring in the vanilla. Let the pudding sit for about 15 minutes, stirring it every now and then to cool.
04 - In an 8-inch square pan, make layers of wafers, banana slices, and pudding twice, finishing with a top layer of pudding.
05 - Cover the dessert and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or leave it overnight to set. Sprinkle crushed wafers on top before enjoying.

# Notes:

01 - This dessert turns out better if prepared earlier.
02 - Store it in the fridge.
03 - Make sure to serve it cold!
