Creamy Smothered Chicken (Print-Friendly Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken breasts, no bones or skin.
02 - Add salt and pepper as needed.
03 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
04 - 1 medium onion, cut into slices.
05 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
06 - 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced fresh.
07 - 1 sliced bell pepper.
08 - 1 cup of broth made from chicken.
09 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour.
10 - 1/2 cup of heavy cream.
11 - 1/2 cup Parmesan, shredded.

# Steps:

01 - Put salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken breasts.
02 - Warm some olive oil in a big pan on medium-high. Sear the chicken until both sides are golden, then set it aside.
03 - Using the same pan, cook the onions, garlic, mushrooms, and bell pepper until tender.
04 - Sprinkle flour on top of the veggies and let it cook for a minute. Slowly mix in the chicken broth after that.
