01 -
Get your oven warmed up to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
02 -
On a pizza tray or cookie sheet, place the crust. Prick it all over with a fork to stop air pockets from forming.
03 -
Put the crust in your hot oven and bake for 5 minutes to give it a head start. Take it out when done but leave the oven running.
04 -
Stir the dry yellow cake mix with melted butter in a medium mixing bowl. Keep mixing until it turns soft and sort of crumbly.
05 -
Using a smaller bowl, mix both the white sugar and brown sugar until they blend nicely together.
06 -
Take the buttery cake mix and spread it all across the partially baked crust. Don’t cover the outer rim.
07 -
Scatter the chocolate chips evenly on top of the cake mix. Gently press them down to keep them in place.
08 -
Dust the sugar mixture across the top, avoiding the edges of the crust. Add as much or as little as you like depending on your sweet tooth.
09 -
Pop the pizza back into the oven and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes. The edges should get that golden color and the top will firm up.
10 -
Take it out, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then cut it up. Enjoy it warm—it’s best that way!
