Stir the milk and pudding mix together until you get a thick texture. Let it sit for now.

Put the Oreos in a sealed bag and smash them with a rolling pin (or use a food processor). Keep about a quarter of the crumbs aside for the topping.

Whip the softened butter and cream cheese together until it's smooth. Gradually blend in the powdered sugar.

Gently fold the cream mixture into the pudding, then add the Cool Whip and combine until it's all smooth.

Layer the crushed Oreos and pudding mixture alternately in a trifle dish. Finish it with the saved Oreo crumbs on top.

Place gummy worms on top as decoration, then refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
