Wormy Oreo Layers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 and a half cups of milk.
02 - Two packets (3.4 ounces each) of vanilla instant pudding mix.
03 - One family-size pack of Oreos (18.71 ounces).
04 - 4 tablespoons softened unsalted butter.
05 - 8 ounces of softened cream cheese.
06 - 1 cup of powdered sugar.
07 - A 12-ounce container of Cool Whip.
08 - Use gummy worms to decorate.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir the milk and pudding mix together until you get a thick texture. Let it sit for now.
02 - Put the Oreos in a sealed bag and smash them with a rolling pin (or use a food processor). Keep about a quarter of the crumbs aside for the topping.
03 - Whip the softened butter and cream cheese together until it's smooth. Gradually blend in the powdered sugar.
04 - Gently fold the cream mixture into the pudding, then add the Cool Whip and combine until it's all smooth.
05 - Layer the crushed Oreos and pudding mixture alternately in a trifle dish. Finish it with the saved Oreo crumbs on top.
06 - Place gummy worms on top as decoration, then refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.

01 - You can prepare this a day early—up to 24 hours in advance.
02 - It looks best when served in a trifle dish, so you can see the layers.
03 - Make sure to keep it cold until you're ready to serve.
