Easter Egg Fruit Cookies (Print-Friendly Version)

Sugar cookies shaped like eggs, covered in a sweet cream cheese spread and decorated with fresh fruit. Great for Easter gatherings.

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - One box of sugar cookie mix

→ Creamy Frosting

02 - 8 oz of softened cream cheese
03 - 6 tbsp of room-temperature butter
04 - 2 cups of powdered sugar
05 - A teaspoon of vanilla
06 - A tiny pinch of salt

→ Fruit Toppings

07 - A mix of fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwis, raspberries, blueberries, mandarin slices)

# Steps:

01 - Follow the directions on the package to make dough. Flatten it to about 1/4 inch thick and cut out egg shapes.
02 - Cook as instructed on the package. Let the cookies cool down fully on a cooling rack.
03 - Whip the butter and cream cheese until nice and airy. Stir in the vanilla and salt, then slowly add the sugar while mixing.
04 - Cut fruits into little pieces and blot with a paper towel if they're too wet.
05 - Spread the frosting thickly onto each cookie and add the fruit on top.
