08 - 1 (21 oz) can premium cherry pie filling

09 - 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon almond extract
11 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
12 - Milk, as needed

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
03 - Gradually mix in the flour and salt until a smooth dough forms. Press half of the dough into a baking pan.
04 - Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the pressed dough.
05 - Dollop the remaining dough on top of the cherry filling, leaving some gaps for the filling to show through.
06 - Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
07 - In a small bowl, mix confectioners’ sugar, almond extract, vanilla extract, and enough milk to reach a drizzling consistency. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
08 - Cut into squares or bars and serve.
