Choco Chip Treats (Print-Friendly Version)

These cookies have a perfect mix of crispy edges and soft, gooey centers. Great for snacks or sweet cravings.

# Ingredients:

01 - A cup of melted butter (unsalted).
02 - Two teaspoons of vanilla extract.
03 - Half a cup of white sugar.
04 - One cup packed brown sugar.
05 - Two big eggs.
06 - Half a teaspoon of baking soda.
07 - Two and a quarter cups of regular all-purpose flour.
08 - Two cups of chocolate chips (semi-sweet).
09 - Half a teaspoon of salt.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get your baking sheets ready with parchment.
02 - Stir together the baking soda, flour, and salt in a bowl.
03 - Blend the melted butter with the two types of sugar, then mix in vanilla and eggs.
04 - Add the dry mix to the wet one, and then gently stir in the chocolate chips.
05 - Spoon out dough, about a tablespoon each, spaced 2 inches apart. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
06 - Leave the cookies on the sheet for 5 minutes before shifting them to a wire rack.

01 - If you want soft and chewy cookies, avoid baking them too long.
02 - Store them in a sealed container, and they’ll stay fresh for up to 5 days.
