Korean Beef Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 4 tablespoons soy sauce, lower sodium
02 - 1/4 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
03 - 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes, crushed
04 - 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
05 - 2 teaspoons sesame oil

→ Main

06 - 3 garlic cloves, minced finely
07 - 16 ounces ground beef
08 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil

→ Garnish

09 - 2 green onions, sliced very thin
10 - 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, stir together the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
02 - Heat up the oil in your pan and cook the garlic until it smells fragrant. Toss in the ground beef and cook until it's browned, roughly 3 to 5 minutes. Remove extra grease.
03 - Stir the prepared sauce into the cooked beef along with the green onions. Let it cook through for about 2 minutes.
04 - Top with some sesame seeds and a bit more sliced green onion if you’d like.
