In a large skillet, warm it over a medium-high flame. Stir the bacon bits frequently and cook them until they’re crispy—should take 5-6 minutes.

Toss the chopped onion in with the bacon. Let it soften up for roughly 5 minutes, stirring here and there.

Mix in green beans, garlic, chicken broth, butter, vinegar, sugar, pepper, and salt. Stir everything together until combined.

Turn the heat way down, pop a lid on, and let it all simmer. Stir here and there until the green beans become soft, around 10 minutes.
