Honey Hot Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch or potato starch.
02 - 1 teaspoon black pepper.
03 - 1.5 pounds of chicken wings (roughly a dozen pieces).
04 - 1 teaspoon of salt with added seasoning.
05 - 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder (no aluminum).
06 - 1 tablespoon of garlic-flavored salt.
07 - 1/8 teaspoon of extra salt (adjust to taste).
08 - 1 teaspoon of onion-flavored spice.
09 - 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
10 - 4 tablespoons of your favorite hot sauce.
11 - 2 tablespoons of honey for a touch of sweetness.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika for flavor depth.

# Instructions:

01 - If needed, split the wings into drums and flats. Thoroughly dry them using paper towels.
02 - Combine all the dry seasonings and rub them all over the wings so each is coated evenly.
03 - Set your air fryer to 400°F and cook the wings for 20 minutes. Turn them halfway through cooking and don't pack them in too tight.
04 - On medium-low heat, melt your butter in a small pan. Stir in both honey and hot sauce. Let it simmer for 2 minutes until it thickens up.
05 - Take the wings and toss them in the warm honey butter sauce. Make sure they're completely covered.

# Notes:

01 - Leave out the baking powder if you're deep frying.
02 - You can bake them in the oven at 400°F for 45-60 minutes.
03 - Deep frying works too at 350°F for about 8-12 minutes.
04 - Using an air fryer rack can give extra crispiness.
