Sweet Tropical Flavor (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Essential Components

01 - 1 ½ cups sifted all-purpose flour
02 - 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
03 - ½ cup butter, melted
04 - 3 large eggs
05 - 1 tsp vanilla essence
06 - 1 tsp baking powder
07 - A small pinch of salt
08 - 1 ½ cups pineapple pieces, drained and crushed

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on and set it to 350°F (175°C). Either grease or layer a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
02 - Grab a big bowl and whisk together the condensed milk, pineapple, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and consistent.
03 - Take another bowl. Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder, then bit by bit add it to the liquid mixture, folding gently as you go.
04 - Spread the batter evenly into the pan you've prepped earlier.
05 - Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. When a toothpick poked into the center comes out clean, you're done.
06 - Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting it into 9 squares for serving.

# Notes:

01 - Sprinkle some shredded coconut or citrus zest to add flavor.
02 - Fresh pineapple works great instead of canned. Chop it finely and drain well.
03 - Store leftovers in a sealed container for up to 3 days at room temp or a week in the fridge.
04 - Enjoy this cake warm or chilled, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
