Strawberry Pineapple Swirls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Making the Pineapple Slush

01 - 2 cups of pineapple chunks, completely frozen
02 - 1 cup of either pineapple juice or water, your choice
03 - 1 tablespoon of honey, if you want it sweeter (optional)

→ Making the Strawberry Slush

04 - 2 cups of strawberries straight from the freezer
05 - 1 cup of strawberry juice or water, up to you
06 - 1 tablespoon of honey, also optional

# Instructions:

01 - Throw the chunks of frozen pineapple, the pineapple juice (or water), and honey into a blender. Turn it on until everything is smooth and has a thick, slushy texture. If it’s too thick, just add a splash more of the liquid. Pour it into a bowl and set it aside for now.
02 - Give the blender a quick rinse. Then add the frozen strawberries, strawberry juice (or water), and honey. Blend until you’ve got a thick and smooth slush. If the blender struggles, pour in a little extra liquid.
03 - Grab a tall glass and start layering spoonfuls of the pineapple and strawberry slushes. Alternate the layers for a striped look. Use a spoon or straw to gently swirl them together so they’ve got that cool marbled design.
04 - Enjoy your colorful Pineapple Strawberry Swirl Slushie right away! Serve it up with a straw.

# Notes:

01 - Frozen fruit straight from the freezer works best for the right slushy texture.
02 - You probably won’t need the honey if the fruit is naturally sweet.
03 - Best enjoyed as soon as you’ve made it—don’t let it sit too long!
