# Ingredients:

→ Main Dish Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
02 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
03 - 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika
05 - 3/4 cup chicken broth
06 - 1 large onion, diced
07 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 pound green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
11 - 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into round slices
12 - 1 pound baby potatoes, cut in half
13 - 2 tablespoons butter
14 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat up to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch dish using some butter or a cooking spray.
02 - Toss together the baby potatoes and green beans in a big bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with paprika, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until coated well.
03 - Warm up a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add the sausage slices and stir them around until browned, about 5 minutes. Transfer them onto a plate with paper towels to soak up extra grease.
04 - Using the same pan as the sausage, melt the butter. Stir in the chopped onions and garlic, letting them cook for about 3-4 minutes until they smell great and go soft.
05 - Pour the seasoned green beans, potatoes, cooked sausage, and onion mix into the greased dish. Add the cream and broth over the top evenly.
06 - Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and pop it into the oven for 35-40 minutes. Check if the potatoes are soft enough by poking them with a fork.
07 - Take off the foil. Spread cheddar cheese over everything, then let it bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until it’s gooey and golden.
08 - Take the dish out and let it sit for a good 5-10 minutes before serving it warm.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap out smoked sausage for andouille, chicken sausage, or kielbasa depending on what you like.
02 - If you want it lighter, replace heavy cream with half-and-half.
