Sweet Air Fryer Pineapple (Print-Friendly Version)

Lightly caramelized pineapple brushed with maple and a dash of cinnamon, ready in your air fryer in just 20 minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pineapple

01 - 1 tsp cinnamon
02 - 2 tbsp maple syrup
03 - 2 big cups of pineapple slices (around half a small pineapple)
04 - 1 tbsp melted vegan butter or margarine (optional)

→ Optional Chili Lime Dip

05 - 1/2 tsp chili powder
06 - 3 tbsp vegan mayo or cashew cream
07 - Juice from about half a lime (1 tbsp)

# Steps:

01 - Slice, peel, and remove the core from your pineapple. Chop it into chunks or rings and toss about 2 loaded cups into a bowl.
02 - Stir cinnamon, maple syrup, and melted butter together. Drizzle this on your pineapple and give it a light toss so everything's covered.
03 - Lay out the pineapple pieces in the fryer basket in one layer. Crisp them up at 380°F for about 12-15 minutes, flipping midway. Look for that caramelized goodness!
04 - As the pineapple cooks, throw the mayo or cashew cream, lime juice, and chili powder into a small bowl and stir it all together.
05 - Serve them up warm or chilled as a snack or treat. Have the chili lime dip handy if you’re into that kind of thing.

# Notes:

01 - Put pineapple chunks apart from each other in the fryer so they don’t break
02 - Stays good in the fridge for 2-3 days
03 - You can eat this warm or cold
