# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 large egg
02 - 1 cup toffee bits
03 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
04 - 1 box yellow cake mix
05 - 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
06 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray or use parchment paper for easier cleanup.
02 - Stir together the yellow cake mix, butter, and egg in a big bowl until the mixture looks crumbly and combined.
03 - Take two-thirds of the crumb mixture and press it firmly into the bottom of your greased pan.
04 - Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk smoothly over the crust, trying not to miss any spots.
05 - Scatter the toffee pieces and chocolate chips evenly over the layer of milk.
06 - Crumble up the rest of the cake mix mixture and scatter it on top.
07 - Pop the pan into the oven and bake for about 25–30 minutes. Look for golden edges with a center that’s slightly soft.
08 - Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely while still in the pan. Once cool, slice into bars.

# Notes:

01 - Keep leftovers in a sealed container at room temperature for around 3 days.
02 - Want some crunch? Toss in 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts with the toffee layer.
03 - Prefer thicker bars? Use an 8×8-inch pan and adjust the baking time to suit.
