BBQ Ranch Turkey Skillet (Print-Friendly Version)

Tasty skillet meal with turkey, sweet potato, and veggies tossed in BBQ ranch. Ready quick and packed with goodness.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4-6 smashed garlic cloves
02 - One yellow onion, diced up
03 - 16 ounces of chopped sweet potatoes, 1/2-inch cubes
04 - A pound of ground turkey (preferably organic)
05 - 10 oz. of halved or quartered Brussels sprouts
06 - 2 handfuls of sliced baby bella mushrooms (8 oz.)
07 - 1 medium-sized zucchini, cut into half moon shapes
08 - 1 spoonful of coconut oil

→ Sauce & Add-ins

09 - 1/4 cup golden raisins, optional
10 - 1/2 cup creamy ranch dressing
11 - 1/3 cup BBQ sauce of your choice

→ Optional Toppings

12 - Shredded cheese
13 - Thin strips of green onion
14 - A few lime wedges
15 - Fresh avocado slices
16 - Cilantro leaves

# Steps:

01 - Mix BBQ sauce and ranch in a little bowl. Set to the side.
02 - Heat up a big skillet (12-inch) on medium, then brown the turkey. Take it out once browned and leave it on the side for now.
03 - Pop some cooking oil into the pan. Toss in the diced sweet potatoes and cook for roughly 10 minutes, stirring here and there.
04 - Put the Brussels sprouts in the pan and keep cooking for about 5 more minutes.
05 - Add zucchini, garlic, mushrooms, and onion to the mix. Let everything cook for around 8-10 minutes until the veggies soften.
06 - Put the cooked turkey back in, add the BBQ-ranch mix, and toss in raisins if you're using them. Stir it all up and heat for 3-4 minutes. Serve with any of your optional toppings.
