Cookie Ice Cream (Print-Friendly Version)

Bright blue ice cream filled with cookie chunks. No ice cream maker is needed—just a few steps to this tasty homemade dessert.

# Ingredients:

01 - A pint (2 cups) of heavy cream for whipping.
02 - A tablespoon of vanilla flavoring.
03 - Half a teaspoon of blue gel coloring.
04 - One 14-oz can of sweetened condensed milk.
05 - About 20 Oreos, roughly chopped.
06 - 15 Chips Ahoy cookies, broken into pieces.

# Steps:

01 - Whisk the heavy cream, vanilla, and blue coloring until it forms stiff peaks.
02 - Mix the condensed milk in on a low speed until it’s mixed well. Add more blue color if you want it brighter.
03 - Carefully fold in the chopped Oreos and Chips Ahoy pieces.
04 - Pour the mixture into a loaf or cake pan. Sprinkle extra cookie crumbs on top.
05 - Wrap it up with plastic or pop a lid on it. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or leave it overnight for best results.

# Notes:

01 - Using gel coloring works better than liquid.
02 - The recipe works fine without the food color.
03 - You can store this in the freezer for around two weeks.
