Crispy Tortilla Melts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Wrap

01 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
02 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1 cup of pizza sauce
04 - Olive oil to brush the wraps
05 - 4 big flour tortillas

→ Toppings

06 - Red pepper flakes if you'd like some heat
07 - ¼ cup of thin black olive slices
08 - ½ cup of colorful bell pepper slices
09 - ½ cup of pepperoni slices
10 - ½ cup of sliced mushrooms

11 - Extra pizza sauce for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so nothing sticks and cleanup is a breeze.
02 - Put down each flour tortilla on a clean surface. Spread about ¼ cup of pizza sauce across each one, but leave the edges uncovered by about half an inch.
03 - Take ½ cup of the shredded mozzarella and sprinkle it right over the sauce on each tortilla.
04 - Top the tortilla bases with the mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, and pepperoni. Divide everything evenly.
05 - Sprinkle the Italian seasoning onto the toppings. If spicy’s your thing, toss on a bit of red pepper flakes.
06 - Fold the edges of each tortilla roughly an inch inward, then roll them up snugly from the bottom. Place them on the lined baking sheet, seam down.
07 - Use a little olive oil and coat the tops and sides of the wraps lightly. This helps them crisp up in the oven.
08 - Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes. Take them out when golden and crispy, with melted cheese inside.
09 - Take the tray out of the oven and leave the wraps for 2-3 minutes. This will keep the insides from being too messy when you cut into them.
10 - Grab a sharp knife and slice each wrap diagonally. Serve right away with extra sauce for dipping on the side.

# Notes:

01 - These can easily be customized using the toppings you like best.
02 - If you want them crispier, brush olive oil on both sides and flip them halfway through baking.
03 - Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to three days and warm them again in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
04 - To make them visually fun and tasty, pick tortillas flavored with spinach or tomato.
