Easter Dirt Cups (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pudding Blend

01 - 8 oz. tub of Cool Whip, thawed
02 - 1 package (3.9 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
03 - Purple and pink food coloring (or your choice of colors)
04 - 2 cups of chilled milk

→ For the Toppings and Dirt Base

05 - Mini candy eggs (like pastel chocolate ones)
06 - 1 pack of Oreos, finely crushed (remove the filling first)
07 - Peeps marshmallow bunnies or chicks
08 - Coconut shreds
09 - A few drops of food dye for tinting coconut

# Instructions:

01 - Pour the pudding powder and cold milk into a bowl. Use a whisk to blend for two minutes until it thickens. Let it rest for five minutes to firm up a bit.
02 - Split the pudding mix into two portions in separate bowls. Stir in purple coloring for one and pink for the other. Adjust the hues until they look pastel and soft.
03 - Take the thawed Cool Whip and gently combine it with the pastel puddings. Fold it in carefully to keep the texture creamy and airy.
04 - Spoon a layer of crushed Oreos into the bottom of your chosen cups or jars. Follow with a layer of either pink or purple pudding.
05 - Repeat the steps, alternating between Oreo crumbs and the two pudding colors, until you’ve used all the mix. Make sure the topmost layer is crushed Oreos.
06 - Place the cups in the refrigerator for at least an hour. This helps everything settle and brings out the flavors.
07 - Add the shredded coconut to a container with a lid. Drop in green coloring and a little water. Shake it up until it looks like grass.
08 - Once ready to serve, sprinkle the green-tinted coconut over the dirt cups. Place candy eggs and Peeps neatly on top for a playful touch.

# Notes:

01 - Prepare it up to one day in advance, but don’t add decorations until serving time.
02 - Clear cups or small jars make great containers for showing the colorful layers.
03 - Save time by sticking to one pudding color if you need to.
04 - These treats are awesome for spring get-togethers or Easter celebrations.
