Florida Shrimp Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1 Deep Dish Pie Crust by Pillsbury™, thawed out

→ Filling

02 - Half a cup of chive and onion cream cheese spread
03 - 4 big eggs
04 - 12 oz of thawed, cooked shrimp without tails, chopped
05 - 1/2 cup of shredded pepper Jack cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven with a cookie sheet inside at 375°F. Let the crust sit out for about 10 to 20 minutes to soften. Poke the sides and bottom with a fork. Place the crust on the hot cookie sheet and bake 9-11 minutes until it gets a light golden look.
02 - Whip the cream cheese spread until it’s nice and smooth. Crack in the eggs one at a time, mixing well with each addition. Stir in the shrimp pieces and shredded pepper Jack cheese.
03 - Pour the creamy filling into the crust that’s already baked. Place on the cookie sheet again and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the middle is firm and the top starts to turn lightly golden.
04 - Set it aside for 15 minutes before cutting into slices and serving warm.

# Notes:

01 - Be sure to drain the shrimp entirely to avoid excess liquid in the filling
02 - Works well as a full meal or sliced into smaller portions for a starter
