M&M Cookie Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
02 - ¼ cup melted unsalted butter, cooled
03 - 2 tablespoons white sugar
04 - 1 large egg at room temp
05 - 1 cup plain flour
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt
07 - ¾ cup M&Ms from the full cup
08 - ½ teaspoon rising powder
09 - ¼ cup packed light brown sugar

→ Topping

10 - ¼ cup M&Ms (left from the full cup)
11 - ⅓ cup melted milk chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch cast-iron skillet with parchment paper, or grease the inside if not using parchment.
02 - Mix the flour, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl. Give it all a good whisk, then set that aside.
03 - In a big bowl, combine the melted butter with both sugars. Stir or mix until smooth. Toss in the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until the batter looks well-blended.
04 - Add the dry mixture into the wet bowl. Stir gently—stop once all the flour is mixed in. Don't go overboard stirring!
05 - Fold in ¾ cup of M&Ms. Make sure those candies are spread evenly throughout.
06 - Press the dough out evenly into the prepared skillet using the back of a spoon or your hands.
07 - Pop the skillet in the oven for 15–20 minutes. It's done when the edges look golden, but the center is still a bit soft.
08 - Take the skillet out and let it cool down on a wire rack for around 10 minutes.
09 - Use a microwave-safe bowl to heat the chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir really well. If needed, reheat in 15-second bursts, stirring each time, until totally smooth.
10 - Spread the melted chocolate over the warm cookie evenly. Quickly press the leftover ¼ cup of M&Ms into the chocolate while it's still soft.
11 - Let the cookie cool completely for another 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate firms up.
12 - Cut into pizza-style slices and serve. Use a sharp knife for clean slices, wiping between cuts as needed.

# Notes:

01 - No cast iron skillet? Use an 8-inch cake or springform pan instead.
02 - Prefer a gooey center? Stick with the lower bake time.
03 - Store leftovers in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
04 - Feel free to swap M&Ms with chocolate chips, nuts, or coconut flakes.
