Hawaiian Cinnamon Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Rolls

01 - Package of 12 King's Hawaiian sweet rolls
02 - 6 tablespoons of melted salted butter
03 - 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
04 - 2 tablespoons of brown sugar

→ For the Cream Cheese Filling

05 - 1 egg
06 - 8 ounces of cream cheese left out to soften
07 - 2 tablespoons of regular sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 375°F and get a 9x13 dish ready by greasing it.
02 - Put the Hawaiian rolls into the prepared dish. Cut small squares on top of each one and gently remove some bread inside, but don’t go all the way through to the bottom.
03 - Stir the melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar together in a small bowl. Once mixed, brush the rolls’ tops and insides generously with this mixture.
04 - Use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese until it’s smooth in texture. Add the sugar and egg, and mix until everything comes together and looks creamy.
05 - Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the hollowed-out part of the rolls, filling them up nicely.
06 - Bake the filled rolls in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. They should come out golden on top, and the filling should be firm. Let them cool for a few minutes before you serve.

# Notes:

01 - Add fresh berries on top before you bake.
02 - These taste the best when warm.
03 - You can keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
